Former England boss Fabio Capello has suggested Gareth Southgate should stay in his place. If he is confident that the football players are still behind him.
It is understood Southgate is considering retiring after England lost 2-1 to France in the World Cup quarter-finals.
The 52-year-old boss led the England national team. Reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup before taking the team to the Euro 2020 final last year.

Capello, who managed the Three Lions from 2007 to 2012. Believes Southgate needs the endorsement of his players. And the Football Association that they will still support his manager.
The Italian has told Sky Sports that Southgate should stay in the position if he is confident the players continue to back him as a leader.
“He’s doing a good job. He made a very good young team,” Capello said.
“He has to decide whether to stay or go. This is the problem for this job.”
“If you’re sure the players are backing you, you have to stay If the players are not backing you then you should quit.
“He needs to talk to the FA as well. It doesn’t depend on just one person. But it’s talking together.”
